Ayurveda & Gut Health: The Mind-Body Connection

  • Imbalances result in sluggish digestion, weight gain, lethargy, and brain fog.

Dosha-Specific Gut Health Tips:

🔹 Vata:

  • Focus on warm, grounding foods like soups and stews.
  • Avoid raw, cold, and dry foods.
  • Drink warm herbal teas to soothe digestion.

🔥 Pitta:

  • Eat cooling foods like cucumber, leafy greens, and coconut.
  • Avoid spicy, fried, and acidic foods that aggravate heat.
  • Stay hydrated with room-temperature water.

🌿 Kapha:

  • Choose light, warm, and spiced foods to stimulate digestion.
  • Avoid heavy, oily, and dairy-rich foods.
  • Engage in movement and deep breathing to support metabolism.
