It is a 360 body-mind-spirit release of toxins and the perfect opportunity for you to slow down, reset digestion, renew your mindset, and let go of all excess.

You’re probably her because you’ve been feeling lethargic, overwhelmed, bloated or with a few excess pounds, lacking patience, feeling reactive, groggy or foggy-brained, or simply unwell but can’t pinpoint the exact culprit.

This is the 5-day cleanse your body needs! Ayurveda teaches us that food is medicine. You don’t need a bunch of expensive supplements, detox shakes, or some kind of starvation approach in order to shed weight, regain balance, and feel good. Your kitchen is a powerful place to heal and this cleanse is designed to be straight-forward and accessible so everyone can experience the benefits of this revered Ayurvedic practice.

Ayurveda recognizes that what we take in energetically from our surroundings (social media, entertainment, “noise”) has just as much of an impact on our physical and mental state as the food we consume. If you’ve been feeling lethargic, unmotivated, bloated, and simply unwell, now is the time to strengthen your physical digestion, and also your digestion of life experiences.

How does an Ayurvedic cleanse work?

  • It serves to rest and purify the digestive system
  • It addresses the root cause of any imbalances
  • It draws toxins out of the tissues and into the digestive tract so that they can be eliminated
  • It releases toxins that have accumulated from the previous season
  • It provides tools to support the transition and detoxify the body in a healthy and gentle way
  • It helps prepare our bodies for the upcoming season so we maintain optimal wellness
  • It promotes improved balance and overall health

This 5-Day Ayurveda Anytime Home Cleanse is comforting, nourishing and grounding. What makes it unique is that the combination of nourishing foods consumed and the daily cleansing rituals provide constant support as physical and emotional toxins are being released from the body and mind. Unlike other restrictive cleanses that leave you feeling lethargic and depleted of energy, this cleanse is specifically designed to help conserve and maintain your energy throughout the duration of the program, so that you can carry on with your normal routines with ease. FAQ

Ayurvedic cleanses are unique because they are just as much about nourishing the body as they are cleansing and detoxifying. An Ayurvedic cleanse focuses on building and increasing the metabolism (agni – digestive fire) while it helps the body to move and release deeply stored metabolic waste and toxins. Essentially, digestion and elimination are improved while the body’s major cleansing organs (liver, kidneys, colon, and skin) are constantly supported. Ayurvedic cleansing can also be beneficial on an emotional and spiritual level as well. Often when we release toxins from the tissues of the physical body it can actually cause past trauma and undigested emotions to surface in the mind. By cleansing the physical body we also give ourselves space to observe, accept and release emotions that no longer serve us.
Each body is different and responds differently to the cleansing process. There are different phases during the cleanse, each with different experiences, discomforts, and feelings of relief. It is common to feel nauseous, lethargic, and suffer from headaches and mood swings. This will be dependent on the amount of toxins built up in the body and/or how strictly you follow the cleanse. Since you may experience some of these side effects, it is recommended that you do your best to conserve as much of your energy as possible during the cleanse.
A kitchari diet, mono diet involves a kitchari (mix of mung daal and basmati rice) diet. We provide guidance of modifications for specific diets. The mono diet is a very simple and easy-to-digest diet, which allows the digestive fire to rest and reset. This is crucial to the cleansing process.
It is always recommended that you consult your health care provider before making any changes to your health care plan. This is even more highly suggested for those who have specific, chronic conditions.
Any cleansing process requires a significant amount of energy and processing for both the body and mind. It is usually recommended that you rest your body as much as possible during a cleanse. Try to clear your schedule so you can give your body and mind the necessary time to detox, strengthen, and rejuvenate. If you choose to move, do light movements only such as gentle or Mindful yoga, short walks, etc.
There are cleanses, then there are CLEANSES! For this one, you are provided with tips, suggestions, and recipes but ultimately you choose how strictly you will follow it. Throughout the cleanse, remind yourself to be grateful for the fact that you made the decision to take better care of your body and mind. We all fall off the bandwagon. What is key in continued success is getting back on track and always observing kindness towards yourself. Cleansing is a wonderful wellness tool, but it can also be very challenging. No one can benefit from a cleanse if they do not listen to their bodies. An optimistic mindset + self-compassion and non-judgement goes a long way.
