Gather in community and prepare your body and mind for the winter season by indulging in an afternoon of self-inquiry practices from an Ayurvedic perspective, including; meditation, Mindful eating, and movement. This workshop is designed to help you restore and revitalize the body, ground the mind and soothe the nervous system, and cultivate a deeper connection to your most authentic self.
We will begin the workshop by exploring our connection to nature through the lens of Ayurveda. You will learn about how the principles of this ancient wisdom can be integrated into your daily life and receive a complete winter ritual (sadhana) that includes daily wellness rituals, seasonal recipes, yoga asana specifications for winter, and Mindful eating strategies, designed to help you harmonize your practices with the wisdom of the season.
The second half of the workshop will be dedicated to movement and introspection. You will be guided in a 60-minute candlelight Yin flow designed to warm the body, ground the mind, and cultivate a deeper connection to self, followed by a deeply restorative guided yoga Nidra meditation.
You will leave this workshop not only feeling restored but with a greater sense of embodiment and connection, and you will feel inspired to create a foundation of wellbeing in body, mind and soul throughout the winter season. You also receive an Ayurvedic gift created by Lisa!
No prior experience with yoga or Ayurveda is necessary. Please bring a water bottle, pen, and blanket for the yin flow. A workbook and journal templates will be provided for you.
