Winter is the season of rejuvenation. Just as natures does, we instinctually retreat inward and crave rest so we can preserve our energy. It’s an introspective time of year when we have the opportunity to recover from the accumulated effects of the previous year. Post-holidays is the perfect time to reset digestion, release accumulated toxins, and increase immunity in the body to prepare for the remaining cold winter months.
This gentle Mid-Winter Ayurveda Cleanse is comforting, nourishing and grounding, unlike many restrictive cleanses and detox programs. Ayurvedic cleanses are unique because the combination of nourishing foods consumed and the daily cleansing rituals provide constant support as physical and emotional toxins are being released from the body and mind.
In Ayurvedic tradition, cleansing is not just about food. Shifting mindset, practising nourishing and supportive daily routines, (dinacharya), eating seasonal, warming, and detoxifying foods, as well as turning inward in order to cultivate more self-awareness are all key in the detoxification and renewal process.
During this cleanse you will be provided with simple, wholesome recipes, informative content on foundational Ayurvedic wisdom, journaling materials, and easy to incorporate daily rituals that will truly make a difference in your health. These are all designed to support you in moving and releasing stagnant energy, resetting taste buds, improving digestion, increasing metabolism, and creating a sense of connection to Self. You will feel rejuvenated, grounded, and lighter – physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Along with my daily guidance you will also receive a beautiful 23-page guide to support you before, during, and after the cleanse.
Start date : Thursday, February 2nd, 2023
Investment: $75 (HST included)
January 26th | 6:00 – 6:30 pm (EST)
During this live coaching call I will walk you through the cleanse guide and provide valuable information and additional tips in order to prepare you for the cleanse. Preparation is key when cleansing and the more you are familiar with the material, daily rituals, and recipes, the more likely you will stay on track and reap the full benefits of the cleanse.
January 26th – February 1st
Take this time to peruse the cleanse manual, purchase food items, prep meals and familiarize yourself with the daily Ayurvedic rituals. You may choose to incorporate one or two rituals to your daily routine and/or begin to naturally shift your meals to help prepare your body for the deeper cleanse work that will begin in stage 2.
February 2nd – February 6th
These are the specific cleanse days. You may choose to follow the strict Ayurvedic kitchari mono-diet for the full 5 days, or opt for one of the gentler, less restrictive variations provided in the manual. During this time you will naturally tune in to your body and cultivate a mind-body connection that allows you to make the best choices for your body or state of mind.
February 6th – February 9th
Once you have completed the cleanse you will want to slowly ease your digestion back into your regular routine since your body will still be processing and releasing toxins. To ease the transition continue to eat primarily plant-based foods for at least 2-3 days. Take this time to pay close attention to how your body reacts to the reintroduction of specific foods. If you enjoyed the cleanse, you may continue it for another 4-5 days.
If this cleanse has peaked your interest and you’d like dive deeper into self-discovery through Ayurvedic wisdom, I invite you to book a free 15-minute discovery call with me to discuss how we can work together to improve your overall wellness and longevity.
