My customized yoga programs run deeper than just physical poses. I combine many styles of yoga (Yin, Restorative, Hatha, Power, Vinyasa, Nidra) and create flows from an Ayurvedic perspective, which takes into account each individual’s unique constitution (Prakruti), what imbalances one is experiencing at the time (Vikruti), as well as natural factors like the time of day and the season of the year.
During our sessions, you will learn to embody Ayurvedic wisdom not only through the physical practice of asana, but also through breath work, mudras, mantras, and guided meditations. These are all designed to cultivate mind-body-spirit connection and create balance and harmony within. You will learn how to recognize physical and emotional imbalances and how they manifest in the body, understand which types of practices nourish and support you, and cultivate presence, awareness, and compassion as you breathe and move with guidance and intuition.
